had dinner with the loveliest girlfriends QiuQiu, ZhenZhen & GemGem. Haha, we came up with this silly logic of successful blog celebrities having same initials (think XiaXue, KayKay, QIUQIU!) so we named ourselves bongminmin, bongzhenzhen, *bonggemgem lol.

Neeways, we also had Qiu's family with us, and dinner chalked up to a total of 600ish! Qiu's treat for winning Feecha's Top Feech of $8,888! And Zhen & I both received an angpao from her for extending our help to her in this campaign~ megusta.jpg lol

No pictures today, as usual Qiu had no make up on la, and her hair is so messy! Not going out with fellow bloggers = Qiu's dress down day lol. So used to it liao hahaha.

today, i blog with the intention of reviving this space.
i dont know if this will die off again, but i'll do what i can okie!

was really excited to be invited by Qiuqiu as her plus one for the Robinson's Prime-time Fall Fashion show. both of us were seated in a sea of beautiful bloggers like Valerie (also Winner for Miss Universe Singapore 2011!), Beatrice, Velda and many more! No pics to post, cos I'm not a real blogger, for pictures please go over to Qiuqiu's site! =D

also attended Olay's event at White Rabbit the following day with Yuzhen & Qiuqiu again. I LOOKED FORWARD TO THIS DAY SO MUCH BECOS I GET TO MEET XIAXUE IN REAL LIFE! To top it, we had dinner together~ sounds super stalker-ish, haha but I really do adore her!

decided to revive my blog for keepsake reasons. the passing of a friend recently got me thinking if i disappeared someday, would anyone be curious about what was going on in my life? cos i am. i so wanna know how he has been since graduation? where was he working? was he dating someone? however, there isn't a chance anymore. the irony of not cherishing people when they're around, only to regret when they're gone.

happy 22nd birthday to me!!

how time flies, its my 22nd birthday!!baby said nothing fanciful becos its not the 21st anymore, so he din even bother to apply for leave on my day which falls on his night duty..and, my first celebration begins at his place (28th june), with song and cake..

on monday, we had coca for lunch, and caught i love you man before he headed back to camp..and i met up with the dbs people for dinner..

hooters on tuesday with my ever dearest pru clique..very nice and steady people we're talking about..there was one day alicia asked us out to amk to join her and her friend to chill and slack, though i was slightly reluctant initially, but next thing i know - alex & his buddies were at the carpark, ready to pick me up, and off we go..jansen came along too, lois would have turned up if not for her brother's case of h1n1(suspect, which was tested negative after)

and manhatten fish market for dinner with my sec. sch mates..superb company, we just kept talking and talking that we forgot all about photo taking!! heh heh..

just got home from dinner and catch-up with my lovable nyp family..can you believe that this is the first meetup we have for 2009??everyone's been so busy with school, work, army, etc..still we had a great time!! =)

guess my last celebration will be with my fyp ladies on friday..update more after we meet up =D

hoho, im back again..watched a couple of movies in the past weeks -

caught this movie with the pru clique at bishan..scary!!and not to forget, some gruesome scenes..the old lady is disgusting..

with baby at amk hub..comedy adventure, very good!!

watched this with baby, gem & kennard at vivocity after attending qiuting's 22nd birthday party..its worth watching, though some people might think otherwise..

most recent catch - friday with baby at plaza singapura..my fave of the lot!!dont know if its considered chick flick, but definitely my kinda movie!! =)

i actually prefer cathay cinemas better, cos of the roomy leg space..

a movie that i wanted to catch, but no company to do so with..so baby downloaded it for me!! =) i love it~~

was clearing up my email, and the thought of blogging got to me..
in the past, i used to keep a whole lot of forwarded emails in my inbox - the cute, funny, beautiful and disgusting mails..but as i grow older, all these seem so meaningless and silly, prolly im becoming practical..i guess everyone will be like me someday.. =(

re-read some emails, and there's so much love in it..like the times cam and i communicated through email during fyp cos my sup doesn't like us to msn in the labs..the conversations were funny and so senseless..half the time it reads "i wanna go home and do this, do that"..she used to be so crazy over the korean football kids..

and there's the powerpoint that qt and i came up with for yz's 18th birthday..i was reminded of the times we enjoyed each other's company into the late nights, seperating unwillingly and cabbing home with the atrocious midnight cabfares..its all so much fun =)
now i know where all my pb salary went..

work's been good..busy making appointments, and meeting people..results so far - satisfactory..maybe i have high expectations, so let's hope my efforts will yield good results!! =D
in this industry, tgif no longer means yay!! no work for the weekend, rather yay!! let's hope more people are willing to meet up since its the weekends, and more sales comes in..

hello,
ive left dbs for over a week now..and started on my new job's training last tuesday..so far so good, and i've cleared 2 papers today, another 2 due tomorrow, and that dreaded HI on friday before i'll officially be licensed =) im looking forward to everything..

v.day was a disaster initially, cos that idiot pissed me off big time, but we made up in the end haha..was my fault too, cos i din follow instructions..we din have any fancy celebrations, just him grocery shopping and whipping up a seafood feast for me..

attended heng ji's wedding on 15th Feb @ orchard hotel..the bride was gorgeous, the groom looked smart, and everyone was happy..lol, sounds stupid but it true, no words can describe the joy we share for the newlyweds..

recently i've been thinking alot about my dream home..i run images through my mind to see if the decor and furnitures i want would compliment one another, and the colour of the walls musnt be too dim, but give a feel of warmth..though its still a long way to owning a place i call my home, but its never too early to start planning haha..

been playing quite abit of wii lately, and i gotta say baby & i are hooked on it, though it gets boring after awhile lol..considering to get it $_$ was on half day leave, so we headed down sim lim today, and i got myself a 320gb external harddisk lol..initially i was tempted to get the 500gb, or even the 1tb, but baby stopped me in time, constantly reminding me that i dont have much stuff to back up..with the extra space, i'll prolly end up storing every other thing, mayb even the os?? haha

on top of that, baby got himself this -

haha, only that its not really htc, but thl, a phone brand in china..lol, he's been saying that he doesnt really need a sophisticated phone, since he has his itouch to keep him entertained, and all he asks for is a tv phone..walked around, and saw this one, so there - his valentines' day's gift settled.. n_n

as for mine, im waiting for carol to get back to me on the price of this -

gotta say, its love at first sight for this, as im usually not fussy bout the brands, just that i cant help but fall in love with the big golden knobs..but im not that mean okay, if its really out of baby's budget, i'd be perfectly fine to skip that gift.. =) also, we've an agreement that he'll be doing the planning for this v.day as i've already had done my part on our anniversary..somehow, his okok doesnt seem convincing and reliable hurhur..

before i left the office today, sherry gave me a hug and wished me all the best..that made my eyes fill up, but i tried my best to hold it back, cos i know there'll be more to come on thursday..goodness, im somehow dreading the arrival of my last day with the bank..on a happier note, christine has offered to organise a farewell dinner for me after everything, and the promised turnout is promising..im keeping my fingers crossed, and lets just hope i dont cry too much la huh?? =)

its been a fruitful cny for me..lotsa visitings - first my relatives, then baby's relatives, then the prudential people came over the previous week for mahjong, then wss people last sunday, and today, the dbs training clique met up at priscilla's place for a gathering..its been ages since we met up, so we were practically chatting from 3 to 9 haha..

thursday will be my last day with the bank, think its going to be a really tough one to pass..im leaving my first perm job, and moving onto uncertainties..been receiving alot of discourages lately, but cant help but wonder what have they got to gain by putting me down??

may i have the ability to prove all of them wrong..

today, william announced my resignation to all, somehow i felt that tinge of sadness in everyone's eyes..not bullshitting, but indeed i haven't been a nasty colleague to anyone..for that moment, i din feel like i wanted to resign anymore, but i know i have to before this becomes my comfort zone..my last day of work will be on 12th Feb 2009..
much thanks to dbs 0005, my heartfelt appreciation to all who has imparted priceless knowledge to me, made my path of work better/worse, and much thanks to those who werent just a colleague, but a friend for life..i'll miss every one of you..

my life will start on a whole new level after this..

was great, but had a bad headache after that, cos the images were like moving at high speed..but the graphics were nice la heh..

before that, was pre-celebrating heng ji's birthday @ partyworld..glad she like the surprises that they had planned for her..from the bouquet of flowers, chocolates and toy, to the unexpected cake..i was taken aback as well, cos i din know any of the plans beforehand as well..heh, dearie was a wet blanket cos he dragged me off for shopping earlier than expected lol..

this year i've planned a mini xmas gift-exchange within my family..we did the lucky draw thing, and have to get a gift for the person we drew..dearie got mummy, and i got adrian..haha wonder what will i get..hmm..celebrations wise, i've told daddy to prepare some food, and we'll have mini-steamboat @ home..nothing flashy this year..heh, in fact there has never been any flashy plans before..

attended weelian & shuyi's wedding dinner on wednesday @ sheraton towers..the first wedding that i was so overwhelmed..prolly cos i've always been hearing him talk bout the wedding preparations, photoshoots, and stuff like that..so when the actual day is here, we're all excited bout the end product..and both of them were immersed in happiness, and their happiness got to me..i felt happy too lol, this sounds stupid..

its been a week since i got my license, and believe me - i still haven't really gotten over the fact that i passed!!haha, it just seems so impossible, and yet i did it..true to adidas' saying - impossible is nothing!! hiak hiak *smirks* lol

this is gotta be the craziest day of my life ever..had a mahjong session that lasted a good solid 18 hours - from 06/12/2008 4pm till 07/12/2008 10am..sounds insane??well i still cant believe that we actually went on for 8 or 9 rounds straight!! i was winning quite a fair sum initially but as the night proceeded on, i lost my winnings due to my carelessness, but luckily it din eat into my capital amount heh heh =D

on another crazier note, i prepared and met dear after everybody left..had lunch, and started our plan for this weekend - paint his room..we chose the colour spellbound which was in a shade of warm red..even the khakis wonder why my energy never seems to exhaust haha..im pretty amazed myself as well..

hope we're able to head down ikea tomorrow to get some furniture for his room =)

with good news!!

i passed my driving at first attempt with 10 demerit points..quite alot la, if not for that very bad turn i made which costed me 4 full points, i would have passed with flying colours!!haha if only i did so well for my O levels lol..

*flying flying flying* haha very happy, FIRST ATTEMPT okay lol..say im yaya la but its really very unexpected, cos i was SO NOT READY for it..my hands were trembling on the wheel, i keep forgetting to change back to f1st gear when i stop, i dont check my blind spots WHEN I WAS PRACTICING..my instructor even commented that my driving is okay, but i keep forgetting the steps and rules..lol..

the traffic police made things worse, cos he was so stern looking and quiet..they say if the tp talks to you, then you're more likely to pass..so i tried striking a conversation with him, but he just answered in a yes/no manner, which din help ease my anxiety..so fine, i kept quiet and did as i was told..there came a point he told me to turn, but i missed it and he seemed pissed, so i thought i screwed up..
throughout the whole thing, i kept thinking whether my actions will warrant an immediate failure haha..

the whole thing only took 30 minutes when my instructor told me its usually 45 minutes to an hour, so i seriously thought no hope liao..on our way up for evaluation, he asked me do i know where my mistake was, i told him yes, and he commented that i seem very stressed lol..i replied yes im darn kan chiong..

after going through the mistakes and points that were deducted, he asked so do you think you passed??
i really need to, i told him lol..and he flipped the page over..PASSED!!all i remember was i was all smiley and i kept thanking him furiously haha, then i went to take my picture and do the license..will take bout a month to be sent over..

haha, i just wanted to jot this all down cos its a great day for me today!!
anyway, we dont have a family car, so even i passed, its just a useless card!!
lol kidding, i'm so gonna earn my keep and reward myself with a mitsubishi i as soon as i'm able to afford it!!

cleared the biggest hurdle, my next target is YOU!! =D

guess i've been too lax at work..after 3 months of hard work, i made a blunder again..i was so near to clearing off the records, but it had to happen again, at this point in time, where performance is so important, and mistakes are magnified..guess i can only say i've put in my utmost effort, and what has to happen will happen somehow..

this affected me so badly i couldn't perform while having my driving lessons today..and the test is just 2 days away..now im really not that confident of getting the minimum criteria anymore.. =( lets just hope i dont embarass myself too badly on that day..

i am once again, addicted to online shopping..heh, the convenience and leisure of shopping at your comfort just draws to me so much!! =D am comtemplating OPI polishes, but they're really costly, and given the financial situation that im in now, im supposed to be saving, but but but..haha, excuses..

read through a fren's blog last night, and it brought back so many sweet memories that we shared..from school, to work, to friends, to family, to relationships, we've been a significant part of one another's lives, but now so much has changed..we dont even meet up close to 5 times a year, dont know what is going on in each other's life anymore, dont celebrate birthdays/important occasions together anymore..and when we read one another's blog, our names aren't mention as often as before anymore..

too much of an emotional wreck..sidetrack, work's been bad..there's been a lack of manpower, which means every working person is being stretched to the fullest in every single way..can you believe this??the bank closes at 430 daily, but for the past 2 days we only go back at near 7..yesterday was an exception for me cos i had my driving lessons, so i was excused at 630 but still, i was late for it..extremely hectic and draining i tell you.. -.-

i really miss prawning and mahjong..wonder when yz&ninja will join us for prawning..and when will my next mahjong session be??

oh, and my last paper is very likely to be on the 12th of december..thats next friday..truth be told, i just started on the text, which is 346pages full of information..just hope i'll survive through this last costly one..

just returned from meeting yu fen and sandy..gave yf a pre-bday treat and a robinson/john little/marks&spencer gift card..afterwhich I persuaded them into a singing session haha..it was ladies night at kbox so we actually could sing till they close, which was 6am lol..this is the first time I stepped out of a karaoke feeling VERY satisfied, till the extend of being sick of singing..

one more happy update - remember I was studying? I cleared the first paper, went on to the second one, and passed that as well..only left with one last one and I'll be licensed..but here comes the million dollar question - should I really take on this path? or continue to pursue?

how time flies, october is coming to end, and soon november, then december - the month everyone loves, cos of bonus and christmas..heh heh..

its deepavali today, and im slogging my guts out here for the paper..haha, issit back to school for me??nah, just trying to work towards my alternative option..its tedious working in the bank nowadays, with all the crowd coming in with their enquiries about the stability of the bank..i envy my colleague's courage to tender her resignation at this time, cos the reason im holding on is the bonus, and it should be here anytime soon..resigning would mean her bonus is forferited..

went for a spa/massage session with heng ji sometime last week at fil, and i gotta to say i enjoyed it..haha, it was quite awkward initially cos we were both naked in the same room, but after that we got used to it, and the massage was really gooooooood..revitalising after suppressed months of stress and hard work.. =D

anyhows, will be heading for genting with dear next monday..i cant wait, though we din get the desired hotel, but thats what you get for doing last minute booking..im glad enough they still have rooms for us..now, im so looking forward!!

im at a crossroad, waiting for me to make the decisions..which route shall i head??

dear brought me to Ikea this afternoon for lunch, and we shopped around Queensway after that..i think its quite an interesting place to shop, with lotsa sports apparels, and occasionally you walk into some shops with unique stuff..dear got himself 2 tees, which was not too bad..afterwhich, headed to bugis for more shopping, and i got myself a bag from charles&keith..not really cheap, but i kinda liked it..after more aimless shopping, we decided to go home, before he returns to camp, and i had an appointment with ryan..

he is indeed someone inspirational, and certainly did tempt me with the figures involved..but im afraid of the side effects that comes along with that job, so im having my reservations..due to meet him again on monday, thats when i guess i gotta give him an answer whether or not to join his team..what he offered is not my ambition, but it was ever taken into consideration..so now, im really at a loss..and with the upcoming interviews, i've got much more thoughts going through my mind now..sigh..

haven met up with my friends for awhile..cam, en, xz and edwin..edwin has left for aussie, yet he said will plan a gathering for us @ his place before his departure -.-

my weekends were great!!went for a session of karaoke with dear at marina sq, and we had this very big room to ourselves, quite shiok though it felt abit weird, and very cold..dear mentioned that i've a terrible habit - which is i cannot go home empty-handed whenever i go shopping..i always have to get smth for either me or himself, else i feel very uneasy??haha

headed to the comex fair aftermath, and we got this -

we got the 42" @ S$1699, what a steal right??and it'll be arriving on saturday, now we're considering whether to wall-mount it or not..the living room needs some new colours, but nobody is free to do the painting..and dear is thinking of re-furnishing his room too, and he boldly told his mother "we're getting married", i think his mummy got the shock of her life lol..but its not true, he's just finding an excuse to be vain hahaha..

anyway, back to my saturday, met up with yz & zack for dinner, and yz drove us to ecp!!with her doggy snowy, adorably cute~~our first time hitching a ride from her, and i gotta say, it was a smooth journey..im looking forward to getting license!!my tp is on 5th dec, and my PDL expires on 29th nov, which means i gotta re-new it..hopefully i pass!! =D

politics has been going on and on at work, in a worse state now..sometimes i dont understand, why would someone who already has authority, and already above all of us, still resort to such lowly actions..its so frustrating to see her smile at you, when you clearly know that she turns her back and stab you heartlessly..no matter how hard you try to prove yourself wrong, its still futile..out of 10, i can say that all 10 are pissed with her way of work..

that aside, i'll be having a long weekend~~on course tml, which only last for half a day, and i can rest till sunday hoho..am planning to get my brows done, and do a bit of self-shopping..my saturday is really packed though, hope everything is fulfilled =D

might be studying again, business related courses??my love, marketing =D

its 7am now, and im wide awake, heh heh..had an early night, so that explains why im here so early =D baby has left for work, and im here to surf the net for awhile before preparing for work as well..

caught money no enough 2 with dear last friday @ amk hub, and im disappointed, not with the show, but with the cinema..i got there @ 8plus thinking of getting tickets for the 1030 show first cos dear was still on his way home from work..when i paid i ask if i had to Q again if we wanted to get popcorn for the movie later..the girl told me that i could order first and it will be delivered to us when the movie started..i was quite pleased initially, cos i thought that personalized service was only if you were at grand cathay(ie more expensive tickets) or smth..so when the theatre was ready for seating, we made our way in happily thinking that our popcorn will here later..but it never did come, even till the end of the show..seriously, i thought i heard the staff wrongly..maybe i had to do self collection at the snack bar..so we went back to check it out..turns out, the lady told us that they did deliver the popcorn, and someone acknowledged it..when i told her that we did not receive anything, she bluntly offered to do us a refund..as though we wanted to cheat her of her popcorn?? -.- there was no compensation done, whatsoever..and her attitude was bad, even to the extend of accusing us taking the wrong seats..i've sent an email of complaint already, what to do, im singaporean what..
not happy, shoot complain letter to manyzer!! hurhur!!

last saturday was great!!the girls came over to my place for mahjong in the afternoon, and i won money from all 3 of them!!the feeling is damn shiok, cos its been a long time since i won =D afterwhich we were comtemplating whether to meet up at chomp chomp, brewerkz, or the ktv @ chinatown that we frequent..in the end, peng decided for us that chinatown it will be..had so much fun!!and that was the first night i drank so much with them, cos i usually watch how much i drink..lucky i din get drunk, just a bit unstable haha..played lotsa card games with the ladies, and i told them i wanna revenge for dear, cos the last time we played, dear drank alot cos he kept losing!!
my dearest heng ji was drunk cos she drank too much!!lol..im glad dawn enjoyed the night though the turn up wasnt as expected, and for the fact that she was having a bad sore throat.. =D

having rest for 2 days, yesterday was war in the bank..everyone rushes in as though its the GSS there -.- and some ppl are just so un-cooperative, taking their own sweeeeeeet time to do their stuff, and when 430 comes, they speed up just abit..cannot understand why such ppl with no team spirit, and totally oblivious to their surroundings exist..she just irks me so much

im really sick of my job..everytime when i think maybe i can tide it over, something crops up and pushes me to the verge of tendering my resignation..i really cannot understand why such hypocrites exist..i've nv messed around with her, why come do me??urgh..and to think she's sucha senior staff with the bank, yet performing such acts..its really frustrating to see such immature acts..
ive decided to leave after my bonus..gotta stand firm this time round..

olympics will commence today..though im not a sports kinda person, but someow im actually looking forward to it..like sucha grand event huh??

hungry ghosts festival is here again..so, no more late nights, im scared la..haha
speaking of which, i was blog hopping earlier on, and happened to chance upon this girl's blog..she has passed on 22nd July 2008 due to an accident..i've spent the whole day reading her blog, and i am overwhelmed with sadness even though i do not know her at all..her life would have been a pretty tale, but it has to end so abruptly..also, i envy her for having such bonded friendship with her Js' friends - all 7 of them seemed so closely-knitted..

back on track, had a mahjong session yesterday before heading out for shikin's wedding, and i am so disappointed!!i was playing a 13 yao, and i got a hong zong, and i was left with yi tong so i'd game..so, i threw out a san wan..who knows, dawn gamed with that, and i realised all my yi tongs were kept by them..my hand was cold and trembling when i was playing that round..they say that, its only when you're on a lucky/unlucky streak, then you should challenge the 13 yao..urgh, felt so frustated!!60 bucks flew off just like that~~ =(

yesterday was my first time attending a malay wedding, and i guess it was enjoyable..the way they furnished up the void deck made it seem like any other restaurants, really..the food was okay only, though..but we had fun nonetheless =D

dear still isnt back from his morning duty yet, and i've been bored the whole day at home!!thats how i chanced on the blog above..it got me thinking, if i passed on one day, who will be sad for me??and how long will they stay sad??though i wouldnt want to see any of my loved ones sad, but i hope they'll remember me, like i will always keep them on my mind =)

went down to dear's friend's bday celebration last night..the way they sabotaged him was horrible lol..first they made him blow up a condom, then they threw water bombs, smeared mayonise and poured ice cold beer on him, and even drew on his face using lipstick..lastly, when he was giving out the cakes, dear started by smashing the cake right in his face, then everyone started doing the same to him lol..when he came near us, i was so afraid he will accidentally brush by or hug dear lol..i guess he was super smelly for the night la.. -.- hurhur

caught the dark knight on sunday..what a great movie i must say!!non stop action..and the sound system @ cineleisure was really satisfying..im not a fan for action movies, but i must say i give the dark knight 2 thumbs up!!

met up with sandy and yufen yesterday @ the flyer to celebrate sandy's 21st birthday..had popeyes for dinner and roamed around exploring the place..the high speed continuous shots had me laughing till my tummy hurts..immigrant officer and the slow-motion tsunami..muahahaha!!

cant get to sleep, so i thought of penning down my thoughts..

of late, prawning seems to have become a hobby of dear and i, we try to explore new prawning locations whenever we can..have been to pasir ris park, farmart, and also bishan..so far, the best catch is @ bishan, just next to the driving range??we caught about 10 prawns in 3 hours, yes its not alot, but a great encouragement for us..farmart was terrible, we only caught 1 prawn in an hour..din feel much of the prawn getting hooked..dear and i really do enjoy it very much, although its very much of an ah pek hobby *cough cough hint hint* haha, it really does bring us great pleasure, but an expensive hobby..
yz and bf, gem and bf - we certainly look forward to our next session together again!!lol..

besides prawning, mahjong is of course a must have!!hurhur, last thursday i was really on a lucky streak..won nearly 200 dollars, but lost a fair sum in the second round..all in all my total winnings was about 100..im really happy cos the past few times i've been losing quite alot, and finally i'm recouping abit of my losses..investment, thats what its all about haha!!

dear and i have been really superglue these days..partly cos he books out everyday now, and also cos he stays at my place more often as its more convenient for him to travel to and fro camp..my colleagues describe us as newly-weds, haha cant live apart one another for too long..i really like this feeling, cos it really gives a picture of what life after marriage might be..definitely, staying together means more disagreements, more conflicts, but what comes with this is also better understanding, and compromising(more of him compromising to me lol!!)..erm, maybe just for the first few months??after that, it'll be quarrels and fights at home haha..

my birthday celebration was great..though my turn-out wasnt as great as what i imagined it to be, but everyone who attended made it all worth-while n_n

baby brought me to the secret garden for my bday dinner..its a really nice place, and the food was good..i especially like the cod fish cos its really tasty, though prepared simply..and oh, talking bout the dessert just makes me drool..melts in the mouth haha..

as for baby's birthday, i bought him a hugo boss wallet, and brought him to indulgz for dinner..though there were some spoilers, but im still glad baby enjoyed his simple fare..will bring him out for a better celebration sometime later..

however nice my colleagues may be, and however much i love my job, i think its time for me to move on to a new environment and learn new things..hence, i've officially started my job-hunting again..this time i know better what to expect..so im looking at 5 day work week, pay of about the same as what im earning now (or higher =D), flexibility, and most importantly, easy-to-get-along co-workers..actually, everything is negotiable lol..

i need some feedback on the job scope though..my friends, what kind of person am i to you??or what kind of scope would you picture me enjoy working as??sales??admin??civil servant??i need help..please assist me in finding my dream job LOL

as the day draws nearer, i figured i should do up a list of gifts to get me for my 21st birthday, so my dear friends wont have to crack their brains, squeeze their brain juices to think of what to get for me..

gd thing i had cloey as company for the 2 days training, else i really wouldnt know who to lunch and gossip with..had fun exploring the area, and lunch was great with the fruits cup =D training was okay, but kinda dry, and really draggy..its cool only becos we dont have to be back at work where we have to face customers..but its all over, tomorrow will be another day at work..

i kinda dread going to work nowadays *negative thoughts*

on a happier note, driving lessons will be starting!! =D im so excited bout taking the wheel..wonder how i'll fare, but i'm definitely a 100% road-idiot..i can never remember roads and directions!! haha

anyways, whatever that was supposed to happen din happen..though im disappointed, but i gave it my best so no regrets..i'll still look out for whatever opportunities available..

today marks my 1 yr with DBS..how time flies isnt it??quite a few ppl have joined and left in this year..i've met prolly a million people??haha, not true but almost there i guess..the most ridiculous customers, the extremely polite and nice ones, i can say i've seen them all..im glad to be part of this team, even 10 years down the road i'd say the same thing.. =D

Officially a hubber as of today..heh heh, my mobile service provider is starhub, cable contract with starhub, and my parents signed up for maxonline with starhub too!! =D goodbye to singnet, finally an end to slow speed and frequent disconnection.. hubber dubber doo!! =D lol

baby and i visited escape theme park today..the initial plan was wild wild wet, but that fickle minded freak changed his mind when we got there..the weather is horrible, making us perspire like whatever lol..so happened his ex schoolmate was working there, and he gave me a free toy haha, something to remember our first theme park experience by =)

oh, went to peien's new place on vesak day..tastefully furnished, simple and very zen hurhur..missed cookie and elmo so much!!cookie is still as adorable, and elmo still as stupid??haha, miss my friends..our meetups have not been frequent, resulting in my level of gossiping decrease!!

tml will an important day in my life, shall keep all updated if i get positive results..
dont think too much, im not testing for pregnancy wahahhaha..speaking of which, pris will be giving birth really soon!!the last time we met up, her tummy was really bulging~~looking forward to her baby..looking around me, many of my friends are expecting a new life in their family, what about mine??haha, cant prolly expect my mother to give me another sibling??can only place hopes on my sister then =)

its been such a loooooooong time since i blogged..over a month i guess..first of all, i've straightened my hair, and im glad i did..almost everybody said its better than the stupid wrong curls..

baby met with an accident 2 weeks back, but no worries everything is okay now..managed to get his pinky back in place..the stitches have been removed, and his finger looks horrendous..anyone wants a look of it??might post it up if there's high demand haha..

was having lunch today when i saw some headlines bout edison again..if you dont already know, i used to be a huge fan of his, and i wouldnt deny still being one - just that im not that enthusiastic bout buying the albums, and attending the events and whatnots..still, a part of me is very much in love with him, if thats the right term to use..

anyway, thats not the point..the headlines of the papers was a singaporean blogger who claimed that she had a chance to meet e. and even to the extent of doing the deed with him..yet, she rejected (not the exact terms she used, but i dont really care) okay, so she says she not seeking attention, and she did not expect it to make the headlines..seriously, anyone would have known - even a stranger to e. , anyone would have known not to add oil to fire at this time..anyone would have known to be a kind soul, do a good deed, and not defame e. further..

been making some really silly blunders at work..its somewhat demoralising, i thought im ready enough to take on the new challenges that lie ahead, but these few days seem to have proved me wrong..am i really ready??or am i suited for this job, more often than not i ask myself..cant seem to find an answer..prolly i need a new environment, or just a break..no matter what, im not defeated by this, i'll be back stronger, and more meticulous heh heh =)

first movie for 2008 @ 2.30 am lol..though baby and gem were mostly asleep throughout the movie, but i enjoyed it very much..all the thrill and suspense kept it going =D

seriously, i have no idea what is going on half the time, cos i din catch part 1..couldnt differentiate between aliens and predators haha..some parts are really funny like how some of them died lol..

today is supposedly the anniversary for baby and i..heh heh, wanted to go away for a short trip, but he is unable to apply for leave during this period of time..oh well, better luck next time.. =D

its been some time since i've last blogged..2007 is coming to an end, time to sum up the year, and brace up what what lies ahead in the next 365 days..rather, 366 days, since there will 29 days in feb..

2007 certainly hasnt been a smooth sailing year, with obstacles, fights, quarrels..friends came, and left, came and left again..some left, and never came back, no matter how much you wish for them to..though its still a mystery to me why things turned out this way, but at least it doesnt hurt as bad as before now..baby always tells me, somethings are just not meant to be..this made me treasure the ppl around me more now.. :)

in this year i've moved to another level in life - the working society..this job definitely has brought my attention to the importance of money..i can say ive matured alot ever since i joined the bank, and im thankful to meet the generous and fun-loving ppl who've imparted so much precious knowledge to me.. n_n though this isnt the dream job, but i've never regretted making this decision..

everything aside, baby and i are still very much in love, and i foresee that we will still be for the year 2008.. =D

not working today hiak hiak..gonna go shopping with cam and xz later..got to say im really excited cos its been sometime since our last meet up..lets exercise some self-control okay, no more impulse buyings =D

baby will be haveing his POP ceremony on sat, which is also the day our bonus will be creditted.. =D im looking forward cos i get to witness this moment of his life, and the best part of all is putting on his parade for him??smth like that..hope im able to get a nice snapshot of it hurhur..anticipating!!

christmas is round the corner..will be having a mini celebration in the branch, and everyone will have to bring gifts for the person he/she picked..i have absolutely no idea what to get~~any suggestions??no food, no vouchers, and no photoframes haha..

back from msia on friday..the bride and groom looked so good together, im sure they'll be really happy and fortunate.. =) heartfelt wishes for arwese & joe-ann!! din not enjoy one bit of the holiday, other than the wedding, simply cos the weather was bad, and the company wasnt fantastic..was looking forward to return to sg the whole time, and im really glad to be back here =)

will be going back to work on thursday, they keep asking me to clear my leaves which is bad cos i was planning to keep it till baby's pop, and maybe we could go somewhere for a short getaway together..the schedule just seems to keep clashing with other colleagues, so i guess this plan is put off.. =(

just did a change to my hair..finally did the curls, after so much talking and consideration..kinda pleased with the outcome, though my hair is dry like hay now..will be giving it intensive treatments, and hopefully the condition improves =D

will be on block leave as of tomorrow, and leaving for msia to attend cousin's wedding on tuesday..i feel relaxed and content that on a sunday night at 12.38 im still awake, not having to worry bout waking up late for work, and making mistakes..still, i am not satisfied..am thinking of a change, but shall keep it under wraps till further notice..

just went through an old blog that yz used to keep..certainly did trigger alot of neglected, and kept-away memories that we shared..we sure do go a loooooooooooong way back..from the time she said i was a lesbian, to the times we stayed out of each other's path, then till we sat together in class, afterwhich working @ palm beach, till my poly days/her jc days, till now our constant senseless msn conversations and meet-ups..

shopping is indeed addictive..i managed to curb my desire for alomost 2 months, yet i allow it to go out of control now..had another shopping spree today, and goodness i feel darn broke after everything..i have to constantly console myself that its all a kind of investment on myself hahaha..talk about self-denial..hiak hiak~~

yesterday was my first time taking a train to the airport, and at that moment i felt so proud to be a singaporean..the station though plain, but it has this air of class and professionalism..the station is quiet, but when you take 2 escalators up to the airport (terminal 2) in this case, the place is bustling with life and everything moves in fast motion..went there to get popeye's for baby and his family, then back to tanah merah to wait for him to book out and head home together..
i feel like a super dutiful girlfriend =D

shopping is so satisfying!!it never fails to cheer me up, and spend all my money haha..loved my crazy/insane company..we just crack each other up so much it hurts when we laugh..this is the way we'll always stay =D

its always painful to work out the accounts after a massive retail therapy session..looking at the decreasing figures in the bank account is as good as stabbing myself with a fork..haha, what an analogy..gotta start putting aside a sum of money for my soon-to-be regular beauty session..

baby would be booking out tomorrow night..am so looking forward to see him as we din really spend much quality time over the weekends..i love the plan that we worked out, and i really do hope it realises honey =D

last night, i dreamt that my single hamster gave birth to many many colourful hamsters..they were in brown, yellow, black, pearl white and many others..all's so pretty and they dont bite, unlike my ungrateful hamster..

speaking of which, hamster's food is running out..gotta buy new nutrients food for it soon..i am a good owner okay!!haha =D

baby wanted to bring me for a k session, so off we went to lot 1, only to realise that kbox is closed/(for renovation)..its kinda disappointing, but it doesnt matter cos i wasnt exactly that enthusiastic bout it..just shopped around and headed back for some mahjong..tough luck winning nowadays..

celebrated edwin's birthday at his place on sat..just a simple steamboat dinner, then photo taking and all that stuff, just like last year..the family's attendance was guaranteed, with baby's guest appearance haha..totally had cam tricked hiak hiak hiak..

baby's watch (a gift from me and his mummy) was stolen in camp..i feel so indignant for him, how shameless can they get..i depise thieves..he has been in camp for 2 weeks, and finally booked out yesterday..he's become so tanned, even scrawnier than before..kinda heartache to see him like that..but hey, a man's got to go through what he has to go through..so i believe national service will brace and shape my boy into a man.. =D

time indeed flies when im with him, one night is over and we're back to square one again..will be anticipating to see him next week, if all goes well..else, i'll just have to endure another week..its not that untolerable like my mates told me bout..guess im strong afterall heh heh..

work's been great of late..heard some positive comments which somehows tells me my bonus is secured, just that i have to work on the punctuality part..i know i can, its all within my control.. =) oh yes, that aunty is threading on a thin line.,it wont be long before i explode on her..

im back from bintan..the place is indeed great for short stays/getaways, but it gets boring after awhile, especially when nobody shows any interest for massages/spa/manicures!!and worse, watersports is no more to be found!!nevertheless, the sun was great, the beach was lovely, the food was delicious, and the company was priceless..

im in the mood of penning something down, so here i am =)

work's been great of late, and i got to say - im starting to love my job..why you ask??well, i cant really put into words what makes me tick, but it could be the really nice customers you get who are so patient, or the really gracious and courteous people you meet who greet you and thank you for all you've done for them, or maybe its the really amiable colleagues who are not so nice at work, but so really fun after office hours..above all, maybe its just the money thats coming in heh heh..

something before i forget, my wisdom tooth is slowly making its way out!!no signs of pain or discomfort yet, but i can really feel my new tooth's effort when im chewing on my food..SO CUTEEE~~~hopefully everything goes well and the tooth will stay rooted to my gums =))
talking bout this, it brought back some memories..
however now,
priorities have changed, choices were made, changes are sensed..
whatever it is, we'll just leave it where you left off, till you choose to pick it up again..

i wanna go shopping, and im so looking forward to bintan woohoo~~the sun the sea the beach and the relaxation..total getaway from this hectic life..loves to all, nights n_n

its been over a year since we've left fyp, and blk r, but i still do miss the times we spend in school..when we will find every other chance to meet up and chat, walk over to the canteen for a drink and whatnots..
i really do miss school..

pre-celebrated yz's birthday on friday at billy bombers, marina square..it was my first time, and the portions served were humongous!!very filling indeed, and im glad she liked the gift we got her.. =) its just demand and supply hurhur..the night proceeded on just alright, things are forever changing, and i know i dont have the freedom to just pen everything in here, so im just thankful and grateful with my lot..
whatever it is, i've had enough..

just came back from pre-celebrating peien's 21st birthday..we lunched at palm beach, and today's food was good..im happy that they liked the food as well, not too salty for our tastebuds..strolled over to the esplanade under the scorching sun, then walked around aimlessly and headed back as cam had deadlines to meet, and xz is booking in tonight..

been spending quite alot of time with my dearest colleagues from dbs, and i got to admit im enjoying their company alot more than anything else..prolly its the age difference, or the maturity level of our thinking, i feel well-taken care of whenever they're around..even though its just a simple meal, some aimless walking around, but the chats always leave me intrigued and wanting more of these sessions..

its my desired off day tomorrow finally..will be heading out with baby though i have no idea where yet..for this boyfriend, i guess i really have no complains..he is always giving in to me, no matter how riduculous my requests are..i guess if one day i told him to slap me in public, he'd gladly oblige to cos he's simply too obliging haha~~

those hours of my life were probably the worst i ever had..seeing him in such a state just breaks my heart so much..somehow this lesson made him wake up, but the punishment is just so severe..

anyhows, life goes on for me, for baby, and for his family..

smth in me tells me i really have to do this -

in the event of an unfortunate happening, there is no better time to test the friendships, relationships and of course, kinships..true friends stay through out the shit, always there to pick you up when you fall, not afraid of the stench, the trouble and the dirt..others, they just turn their back on you, pretending to be one of the on-lookers, gloating over your mishap..

for girlfriends/boyfriends, they say they'll brave through all stormy weathers with you, be wither you till the end..be there to share your weals and woes, ups and downs..but when something really happens, i'm guessing minority will find an excuse, or rather a problem will suddenly surface in the relationship, and then to each its own..

kinship, indeed the most trustable one i guess should be those of your immediate family..its a kind of fate, or luck that a family gets together as a family..ahya i dunno what to say already..mind block

baby's family is still going on strong, thank you to those who've shown concern..i guess i shall go pay his brother a visit next tuesday, since its my off day..

today is definitely one of the worst days at work, as i was hit with a discrepancy of 300.00..colleagues just kept asking me if i had any recollections bout where the funds went, but sometimes i think its so silly - if i know i made a mistake there and then, i wouldnt even have commited the mistake right??

anyhows, told mummy to cancel the bintan resort due to attendance and time factor, though i really really want to go!!sigh, am really disappointed, and i hope baby will go somewhere with me, before he heads for army..im praying hard!!even genting i'll be glad..

met up with cam and peien earlier on, to bake..lol, was a total failure cos cam was way too adventurous haha..dont be too sad la, we will try again, and we will succeed!! =D

been reading my sister's keeper, and im really loving the story so far..cant wait to get to the ending, be it good or bad..i hope campell and romano get together haha..okay im gone~~i hope tomorrow will be a better day..

i blogged on national day, but the post is missing.. -.-

national day was spent watching the parade over telly, and enjoying kfc, and commenting on everything that i could comment on, all in the comfort of my own home..din manage to get tickets for this year's parade, although i really wished i got it, but i guess it was all okay, since it wasnt that exclusive..

bintan fell through today, as mummy din manage to get the resorts, so im pinningall my hopes on downtown east..its really disappointing actually, i had so much excitement surging through me, in fact i already started picturing the sun, the sea, the activities, you and me, and she and him, and she and him, and she without him..haha~~

im beginning to be really dependent on baby nowadays..im always wanting him to come over, and meet me up, even if its just for dinner, most of the time im hoping he'll stay actually, which he never does!!bastard lol..but oh well, absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder, so i'll just make do with what i have =)

im desperate for shopping!!and mahjong!!but no financial support~~ =(

i happily made my way to work yesterday, despite it being my off day (i din know!!)..when i got to the office, sherry told me to go home cos i was not supposed to be there..haha, xiao-sotong is indeed an apt name for me..

my monday morning for a change -

it felt really good to snuggle in bed after a satisfying breakfast, the air-condition on full blast, and your loved one beside you engrossed in his game, occasionally checking if you've fallen asleep..this is the small little things that makes life so worth-while.. =D

met up with yz and gem at amk hub today..qt will be back really soon, but somehow it seems like she doesnt miss us at all!!bitch~~heh heh, anyhows we had fun bitching like we usually do..

baby and i got this on sunday, from causeway point's cold storage..

indeed, one is never enough!!the coco pops is delicious, and the strawberry one, and the blueberry one, aww, its all nice!! n_n

today is my last day being attached to bishan..somehow or rather i think i'll miss that place, cos of the really relaxed and slow pace for me to learn, and the nice people who imparted me knowledge..im off tomorrow, which is also mummy's birthday, so we'll prolly lunch out or smth, since the brother is back and the sister isnt on duty as well.. =)

things seem to be looking on the bright side nowadays, at least thats what i tell myself..baby is slowly getting out of the low point, staying strong for his family the way he should..im glad that he has grown up and matured through this not-so-nice experience..

friday night was spent at ecp with weiling, edmond, amy, kelyn, boon theng and yvonne..hail the magical breath please!!hurhur, dont know why edmond and i so darn crappy that night, keep cracking stupid jokes lol..am glad that i still decided to go in the end despite being afraid of the awkwardness, and surprisingly everything worked out well and good..got home at only 2 plus and slept at near 3 in the morning..best of all, yz woke me up with her sms at 630 in the morning, just in time for me to prepare and head to work as a walking zombie heh heh..

hanging out with the dbs trainees on saturday was indeed very relaxing, though it was only angela and pris..we took neoprints again haha!!seems like its an unbreakable routine for us..really looking forward to the next meet-up, and hopefully this time round it'll be FULL ATTENDANCE!!

**been parked under drafts since saturday

life hasnt exactly been a bed of roses..not for me, not for baby..him, especially with all the happenings going on in his family, we can only pray for the most minimal punishment to befall..it really broke my heart when i heard baby's pitiful sobs last night, and the tears that stream down uncontrollably..hopefully through this painful lesson, they'll grow up and really get down to living life the right way..

home on a saturday is indeed torturing, furthermore when this is my hard-earned off-day..well, i shouldnt be complaining as baby seldom meets up his pals, moreover they're doing a post birthday celebration for him..i guess he could really use some brotherly company at this point of his life, just hope that he wont drown his misery..

met up with cam and en monday at chinatown..headed down to central for the very first time, and i must say its indeed big..the concept is somewhat similar to that of square2, though somehow it was furnished with a touch of vivocity..oh and before i forget, the japanese mini-doughnuts were delicious =)

post-celebrated sandy's birthday on tuesday at indulgz, the place recommended by xiaxue..i beg to differ bout her comments for the food - somehow it was just alright for the 3 of us, not exactly fantastic..but of course everyone's tastebuds are different, hence the difference in opinion..on a side note, was really surprised to bump into fellow interviewee at that place!!she was celebrating her *i suppose* boyfriend's birthday there..its no wonder i found her so familiar the moment they stepped in..really sweet of her to make the first move and asked if i remembered her..got to say she's definitely not what we pictured her to be, demurity (does this word even exist?) aside heh heh..

wed was spent with dawn and beepeng, my colleagues from dbs toa payoh..busy busy bumble bee!!dinner was settled at sizzlers, and we sat there from like 6.30 all the way till they told us they were closing~~we sure had so much fun gossiping and saying stupid stuff..

i would definitely say its worth the watch, non-stop action(kungfu in actual fact) with an extremely touching, or rather heart-wrenching end..never thought nic tse, shawn yue and jaycee fong had that much chemistry and humour..thumbs up to their courage, though i dont know if they had stand-ins hurhur..

been making plans for a new phone, yet i cant decide..am still very in love with shine, but practicality wise, im not so amazed by its features..i need professional advise man..

quite a number of stuff happened in the last week -
met up with the wss clique on tuesday, just a mini gathering before jeremy and aaron gets sent for national service..dined at ajisen, and slacked at dome, before heading home at around 11..a total of 11 attended - gem, yz, yilin, hui juan, janice, wan shieng, malcolm, jeremy, yisheng, aaron and myself..

on the very night itself, the loss of someone i wouldnt even label an acquaintant, just an ordinary school-mate back then in wss, but the loss was such an impact..when the sms was sent on wednesday morning, my first reaction was huh, why him?though after hearing the whole incident, i thought it was really silly of him, but still we all cant come to terms with his death..attended the wake on thursday, and i guess we all couldnt bring ourselves to see him - the once always lively and bubbly soccer guy lying there motionlessly in the still wood coffin..
on a side note, the guys have indeed grown up so much..and im really glad that i came to wss, to come in contact with all the once kiddish and immature people, who grow up to be of such high calibre..i love you my boys, and my girls.. =)

course with priscilla and jasmine on wednesday, afterwhich was supposed to meet up with the dbs girls, but most of them couldnt make it in the end..so it was just down to the 3 of us..we had tonnes of fun in k box singing to every beat, dancing to every move, and shouting our lungs out to every song~~ =)

sunday was a family day out at yishun -

personally, i think this isnt as good as the previous 4..there isnt any climax to mention, and the storyline is just moving along..and the previous ones usually make a really funny entrance, but there isnt for this..there arent even those extremely funny jokes!!i guess we were just practically watching for the sake of watching..i mean, since i've caught the first 4, why miss this one out right??just 2.5 of 5 from me, personally okay haha..

attachment today was good..everything proceeded on smoothly, and colleagues are okay, though alittle un-friendly..but i guess all this takes time isnt it..feeling so broke though pay-day was just less than 10 days ago, and i cant wait for the next one to come!!im having my eyes on so many things already..sigh, money is never enough i realized, especially when you have to fork out for the family too..

happy belated 20th birthday baby, hope you enjoyed yourself!!thought we din do much, other than shopping.. =)

was around suntec the other day, so dropped by amy's place for a visit..her tummy is showing, she'll be due in no time and she's prolly the cutest mother-to-be i've seen..still very jovial and optimistic about everything, which is good!!felt her tummy, and my conception of hard tummies were so wrong!!the tummy felt just like a water balloon, its just so adorable and miraculous that a life in living within her~~now, im really looking forward to the big big day =D

met up with cam and en yesterday for a really late yet filling dinner/supper at serangoon gardens..all the food we ate was scary haha, and the sugar cane juice is madness lol..we strolled out, aiding our digestion and wishing we lived side by side, just outside gardens, so we could dine there whenever we wanted to..really love this ladies so much, may our friendship last forever.. n_n

attended the graduation ceremony today, and school is officially out for me!!working is indeed a new beginning, and im finding it really difficult to adapt to the extremely stretchy working hours, the burnt weekends, and all my freedom/personal time..

seriously, im comtemplating if i should, or rather, if i want to stay on in this job..though its barely a month, and the first 3 weeks at least was spent at training, but going back to the individual branches and really starting on the job is so different from what we all pictured it to be..thinking back, they actually emphasized that this is one of the highest professions in the world.. -.- how i feel like rebuking them now, the system is screwed, though many things are computerised now, but coming in contact with this job made me realized there is still SO MUCH paperwork actually..all the filing after work everyday is enough to make me go nuts..

anyhows, my hammy is such a bundle of joy..it never fails to cheer me up when i get home from a day of questioning..sounds like a dog doesnt it haha..indeed its that adorable..today baby and i bought the bathing sand home, and we let hammy try it out..hammy really did enjoy very much, even to the extend of falling asleep in the sand heh heh..when we came back to watch, hammy woke up and pretended to continue bathing haha..

i will upload the pictures from grad soon, i hope..i love all the retarded pictures that we took haha..gonna bring back tonnes of pleasant memory definitely =)

just to sum it all up -
a really short-lived, simple yet happy dinner after work on friday with baby at swensens..afterwhich we roamed around for awhile and went home..was sad that it was all over so soon, but oh well, we can always make up for it some other day..also, the dbs family got me a coffee cake..

met up with cam, en and xu zhi to do a post-celebration on sat..and they got me a hamster, which im totally in love with~~when baby gets the other one, i'll name them chip & dale haha..so we went shopping, eating, and more shopping..the amount that i spent was scary, i din have the courage to calculate the total damage for that day..

baby secretly got me an ice cream cake from swensens on sunday..he, along with his brothers sang me a song, and i shared my mange ice cream with them..lol, now i sound so un-20 hurhur..anyways, we went shopping again, and baby was practically dragging me out of every boutique i step into..thats how much self-control i have heh heh..

finally met my sweeties from fyp today..had dinner at some jap restaurant, and the girls were so sweet they got the staff to present me the sunflower they got, along with my food..again, we din take many pics, thinking back, there wasnt even one that we 3 took together!!nvm, we'll make up for it on wednesday for sure~~love ya sweeties, thanks so much =)

so i guess thats the beautiful ending to my 20th birthday celebrations..i truly appreciate all the wishes, the gifts, the treats and all..hearts all =) mwahs~~ oooooooh, baby's birthday falls on this friday and i hope that he enjoys his birthday too, though im not sure if i'll be able to celebrate it with him!!

anyhows, i'm still excited in a way cos i have absolutely no idea what baby, the family, and the dearies will be getting me..baby told me he knows what they are getting, but he refuses to tell me!!what a bitch~~oh, and i miss my fellow trainees SO MUCH..they're meeting up on sat, but i cant join them cos i've an appointment with the family..not going to the theme park anymore, cos some ns-man is unable to stay till the end..

today marks the last day of our training at singapore conference hall, somehow i know im just going to miss the ladies so much, vice versa..all the fun rushing to class together, waiting for one another at the mrt station, the tea breaks, the stupid jokes, the nice singing, and the fairy godmother haha..

on the 29th june a year ago, baby surprised me with a black forest cake and a precious moment ornament at my void deck..he was the only one who presented me with a cake, and the first to sing me a song..a year sounds so short, yet 365 days sound like eternity, we've been through some really stormy weathers, uncertain period, and the really heart wrenching chapters..after all that's said and done, we're finally making it into the 48th month of our relationship, which all in all sums up to about 4 years =)
i wish we'll last till foreverr..

its a busy busy birthday week!! n_n gonna meet up with the dearies tomorrow for a pre-celebration of qt & my birthday, then prolly with the fyp-ians on wed or thurs..friday would be a day for baby and i..how can i forget the family on saturday right!!we're going to the theme park for some fun fun fun!!im most likely to get my hair done next week, and by then there's the gst hike already!!

i was this close to losing a friend/confidant yesterday..
and indeed, it felt so good to come clean with you..

training and the singing session earlier on with the fellow trainees was so much fun!!though we din cam-whore alot, but we chatted heaps!!and karen's singing is damn shiok~~head voice haha..and all of them can sing very well *jealous* hehe but still love them v much.. =)

baby just received his enlistment letter, like finally~~the month reads october, which is still kinda long, but time flies you know, so he'll be botak before we even notice!!oh talking bout guys and ns, xz called me from tekong last night!!shocked and happy to receive the call..what makes me happier is that he'll be able to book out on my birthday!!i wonder who will be celebrating my birthday with me on the day itself..baby??dearies??or family??who else??better start auctioning now lol, im very hot one okay haha..

met up with cam and en on friday at bishan..dined at crystal jade, afterwhich we made our way to the funfair, and spent such a long time deciding on which ride to go on..in the end we left without trying any!!cos its really kinda ex..the sweeties knew i was craving for crab, and they suggested having that, total madness la!!anyways we had dim sum instead and headed home full and extremely bloated haha..so much food, so little time~~hurhur <3

yz's last day at temasek towers tomorrow, our last time to have lunch too!!will definitely miss her, though today's lunch abit funny cos we 2 were sitting at the extreme ends of the lunch table haha..i love my fellow trainees alot!!just cant get enough of them..i wish we could all be posted to the same outlet heh heh..but not really into the job eh, someone teach me how?? n_n

been wanting to blog, but this thing in me just makes me go on surfing the net..2 days of branch attachment already, and im so longing to go back for training next week..miss my fellow trainees so much, esp pigu..cant wait to see her and disturb her again..

june is such a birthday month..lynn's birthday was on monday, daddy just celebrated his 53rd birthday on tuesday, gem's 20 will be tomorrow, then its down to qiuting's 20 on the 28th, and mine on the 29th..not to forget the not so close people, like muzammil, jia mei(same day as qiuting), pang hui(same day as me)..

met up with them to pre-celebrate gem's birthday..wanted to head down sentosa's cafe del mar initially, but the sky turned grey on us, so we settled for fig&olive..i felt the ambience was there, but the food was just average..took a stroll round the pet safari, played around the playground, then had bens&jerry for desserts..love the brownie, and the phish food haha..had so much fun reminiscing bout secondary school times, as usual qt was the odd one out cos we were from different classes back then in lower secondary times..gonna get gem a psp as her present, and she'll definitely love it..

training for the past week was fulfilling, and very fun with the bunch of approachable and funny fellow mates i have with me..everyone is so nice, its hard not to miss them when we go back to our own respective outlets..still, i believe we'll keep in contact and organise frequent meet-ups in the future.. =)

caught this movie with the family on friday, indeed its a very entertaining one..time flew by without us noticing, and soon we were rushing for the last train home..dinner was settled at thai accent, vivocity, which i must say was a wise choice..the serving was value for money, and everyone was nodding in agreement that the food was worth it.. =) on a sidenote, xz would be reporting for ns next saturday, i certainly hope i dont have to report back to branch, so that we can all go see him before he gets confined for 2 weeks..take care my dear, we'll will miss you, and pei en will cry haha..

woke up late for work yesterday..jumped out of bed when i checked my phone and realised it was 8.10 am..was initially tempted to report sick, but i still rushed to work cos i wanted to leave a good impression =) luckily the day proceeded on quite smoothly, and the buddy i was assigned to chatted quite a bit with me..though the bank closes at 1 on saturdays, but by the time we're done with the closing duties and all, its already 3pm!!i told baby i would be done by latest 2, and poor boy waited for over an hour!!

finally satisfied my itch for mahjong today with a session with baby's family~~he won a pretty neat sum of money and sponsored my cab ride home haha..he's so sweet cos he suggested sharing the cost of my new mobile, and even letting me use his dad's line to get it..im pretty tempted by his offer, but i still cant decide..got to consult my parents bout it first cos this would mean selling my n73, unless they wanna keep it for their own use, and let me sell their phones instead..

only worked for 2 days last week, and the rest of the days were burnt for the pc show..my co workers were baby, yz, and bowling haha..my goodness, the crowd was insane..they barge their way in even before it starts..and all the ridiculous people who turn up - aunties, seemingly illiterate people, and of all people, the bangalas..not to say they dont have the need for techy gadgets, but there were just toooo many of them..fellow pc show colleagues were extremely friendly, all the dell, epson, canon, isus and all people..too bad not much of a chance to interact with them, should have gotten their contacts!! =)

training kicked off today, and i was bushed!!totally insufficient sleep my goodness, lucky for me the courses werent too dry, and i was able to stay awake and absorb stuff that was taught..it was certainly alot of fun with the orientation mates, and of course meeting new people was fulfilling, old nyp-ian too!!i need more gossips please~~

as much fun as meeting new people is, maintaining existing friendships is such a chore nowadays..we're all barely able to fork out the time to meet up and have a proper chat..why cant we (the already close ones) just move along in life hand in hand, with one another always by our sides..why why why~~

dont you all think that 2007 is breezing through, its already June now, and im turning 20 sooon..oh how i hate the number 2!!just about half a year ago, i was teasing cam cos she was slapped with the number 2, and now its my turn!!i dont want!! =( anyhows, im really looking forward to my pay, which is 3 days before my BIG 20 day sobs..wont be too long till 3 pops up at my door~~

the only way to really let go of hatred, is to wish the best for that someone whom caused you grief..

i'll be starting work in less than 24 hours..how should i describe this feeling??its a mixture of anxiety, panick, excitement and helplessness altogether..i wonder what my new colleagues will be like..will i stay in this job long??on my way home just now, i was thinking of how much to save up each month..and by when can i have my own car??that is if, i can complete my driving course haha..

met up with the girls on wednesday..sandy and i met up first and yufen was sooooooo late haha..din know what to have for dinner, so sandy recommended subway..i've always wanted to try it, just that the company is always wrong haha..so yes, we had subway and i loved it!!it was yufen's first time too, and yeah she liked it as well..shopped around but nothing caught our eyes, but being the stubborn us, we din wan to leave without making any purchase, haha so yufen and i bought a necklace each while sandy got a bag..its not cheap, but its really nice..headed down again yesterday and i saw more necklaces that i like from that shop!!but the prices are so ridiculously priced!!one that i had eyes on cost a whooping SGD 55!! buts its kinda big la, so i can understand, but i wont spend that kind of money lol..

i dont know what to wear for tomorrow..what bag to bring, what to put in the bag..most importantly, what to have for lunch, and who to have lunch with haha..oh goodness, better put on my megawatt smile tomorrow, and hopefully i meet some old friends haha..

why is it not tomorrow that i meet helmet head and small head, and poof they turn out to be my colleagues!!

have i mentioned that i got a haircut??haha, not that its worth mentioning, but the joke was i cried like a baby after cutting my hair..lol, i know its so primary school to be crying over such trivial matters, but i just couldn't help it..all i did was tell her to thin my hair, and trim ABIT, and it ended up shorter than planned..i tried my very best to leave my hair alone so that i would be in time for a really nice perm for my birthday this year, ohwells, looks like hopes are dashed again.. *shrugs*

will be meeting up yufen and sandy later on..initial plan was to have steamboat at marina, but yufen's going through a really bad cough, so we'll make do with shopping instead!! =D anything/anywhere will be fine, its the company that matters most =)

i've been missing out on so much for the channel 8's 7pm n 9pm dramas..anyone subscribed to mobtv??can i borrow your account please?? heh heh..i love ziling's (jessica) hairdo in the show!!suits her pretty well, isnt it??and oh, carmen is a bitch, just the prettier version of xu chun mei, dont you think??hurhur..
talking bout that show, the finishing song is really nice!!redwan ali should go cut an album!!he has done really nice songs for channel 8's dramas, and its never easy to find his songs.. i love would you be there~~

time really flies doesnt it??looking back, its almost 4 months since we all left school..most have gotten a secured job, and others started uni-life..for some, still bumming through, and waiting for ns..im pretty glad i havent lost touch with the usual clique, still meeting up for dinners, and catch ups..pray that this will continue forever..

to end this, im craving for banana coffee frapucino as well cam!!the word that came to my mind when i first savoured the drink was.. cute.. haha, indeed it is..the banana taste is strong first, then the coffee taste surfaces..and the dry yet sticky texture of the banana stays at the throat..awww, im bad at description..to taste is to believe, so go try it!!available at all/most starbucks outlet i guess lol.. =)

its been awhile since i typed a proper post in here..it has been lots of fun with psz around..we had countless manicures, massive cam-whoring, immense msn irritation, and sooooo much pigging out..on a side note, i have to remind myself to stop stuffing myself with whatever edible, all the fats go up to the face, butt, thighs..

hmmm, met up with yz and qt for a singing session, then some catching up, and the bf-slave had to leave for her bf, whereby i headed home, then left to meet gem and cam at chomp chomp for dinner..we had so much, the food we ordered filled the table lol..the dou huay there is not bad either, and comes in alot of flavours..yummy!!oh yeah, bumped into jessica while waiting for the bus to serangoon..though it was a short chat, but im still happy!!we should prolly do a reunion when philea comes back haha..

my sister came home drunk this morning, she was being such a pest asking senseless questions and irritating the hell out of me..oh, and my parents came back from shanghai..and all the stuff that they bought are weird, they taste weird and look weird too haha..and my dad spent like 300 SGD on a pack of TEA LEAVES!!dunno what they were thinking, so happy to be carrot head hurhur, my sister is so going to regret cos she got my mother the supplementary card for uob lady's card..heh heh..

i'll be starting work next week, which is on 28th may..all i can say is its just pure luck that i got this job..i really thought i screwed up the 1st interview, but was called back for a 2nd one on the next day, and one day after, they called to say they're employing me!!i'll be stationed in toa payoh, which means i walk to work everyday, that'll save me so much on transport~~ =)

i dunno how to end off this entry, so i guess i'll be back =D

finally i can blog again~~anyone missed me??lol, its been almost 2 weeks since i've left marina mandarin, but serena still calls and update me bout the people there..so, not too bad, not losing touch with civilisation haha..

daddy and mummy left for shanghai on friday night, leaving us to guard the house till next sunday..really do hope they get us nice stuff cos i've nv heard much bout shanghai, save for that "ye shang hai" song..i wonder what kind of specialties they have, and the shopping!!i cannot imagine haha..

baby and i are like taking turns to stay over lol..cos nobody's home here most of the time, so i play host more often too!!but the time that he spends on maple is wayyyy more then what he spends with me..so, guess the gender of maple??the answer - female, and a bitch that is, cos she snatches bfs away!!NOT JUST MINE lol *cough cough*..

psz will be here to stay till wednesday!!we're gonna have so much fun baking, movie marathon-ing, mani&pedicur-ing, slacking and of course catching up!!not to forget, photo taking wheee~~gonna pig out like no tomorrow with her around..

and will be meeting up with the dearies on thursday..really looking forward to it!!when was the last time we met up??long ago, haha and that was just dinner at miss clarity's cafe..i cant wait =)

wed would be my last day at marina mandarin..goodness, nostalgia is building up as i blog this..the love-hate feeling i have for that place, for the people, cannot be put into just simple sentences..well, i guess its down to job hunting again, and this time round, i'd better pray hard i get smth i really like, and with an attractive, fat and juicy pay check..

i know im far too slow in blogging this, but yeah, i attended amy's wedding last thursday..seems like the girls/guy have already uploaded the pictures into their blogs..initially i was surprised that i was on her invitation list, cos we kinda lost touch and drifted apart after secondary school, just an occasional short catching up if i see her at work..anyhows, im v happy and comforted to know that she has her pillar of support for life, and im sure with jr around, she will be in good hands.. =)

happy belated 21st to shaun!!
ive said it a million times and i will still say this - i miss you!!and best friends forever haha..

work is coming to an end, so i thought i'd do a review on my working environment:

the ratio of gentlemen to ladies is like 1:5
lunch is always with my partner, and the higher management (trust me, i rather lunch alone)
when the term best friend is used, it usually means otherwise
there is always food in the office, though no outside food is allowed
nobody leaves on time at 545

there are nice colleagues, and not so nice superiors who try to pick on every nitty gritty detail..for example the other day, the superior sort of told me off, cos she saw my msn screen..and on another day, she told me to sit properly cos i had my legs on my chair (i was having cramps!!)

that doesnt exactly matter to me, cos there's always the nice people to make up for things!!like serena, my partner, whose always patient with me though i repeat the mistakes over and over..like fanny and jessie, we all belong to the sales express team, and everyone just guides me along the way..like amy, who although always makes me run from the office to the concierge (for the tickets to phantom of the opera), but makes it up to me by giving me free perfume samples, toiletries, and just by talking to me..like lorraine, june, hailing, sue ann, faridah, sanny, and doris, for always making my presence felt..like gilbert, and kenneth, for trying to notice me, and praise me to let me feel good..like hock ann, for always throwing *i dont know what kind of* looks at me, but i know he means no harm, and is just trying to be friendly..like edeline, though a director, but put on no airs, and never fail to greet me with a warm smile if our paths cross in the morning..

if i were to choose the best time of my one month here, it would be that friday morning, where everyone just left their work aside, and we started wrapping the gifts for secretary week together..one group distributing the gifts, another group wrapping, and amy and i were just making a nuisance, cos we couldnt wrap for goodness sake, yet she told me my wrapping was hideous haha!!

actually, i think i do like this place after all.. =)

work drains me off almost everything..my private time, my sleep, my manicures/pedicures, my shopping, my quality time with everyone.. =( even when i stay over at baby's place, i fall asleep almost immediately, whereas in the past we would chat bout the future, talk bout sweet nothings, and just snuggle up close to one another, and appreciate each other for the company..

though we barely graduated, but still i miss the times..times when we try to mug for the papers, but end up chatting and playing mahjong in the tutorial rooms..times when we stay late in sch to complete our assignments..times we do manicure/pedicure in the labs..

times when vacation is here, and we'd arrange to meet up for shopping at about 12 or 1, but we'd dilly dally and adjourn the time to 2 or 3..and still, i'll be late, making everyone wait for me..then we'll have lunch, do some shopping, buy some finger food, do somemore shopping, then have dinner, and do more shopping, throw in a neo-print session as well!!then we'd see the shops close, and we still wouldnt want to go home..so we'd hang around aimlessly, and at about prolly 11 head to the station and get the bounce trip to marina bay and back..and when we get home, without even washing up, turn on the computer first, then log onto msn and laugh bout whatever funny happened earlier..then go do some online shopping, then go wash up and bring a wide wide smile to bed..

oh need i mention the stayovers, bbqs and overnight rotting sessions~~be hyper at the start of the night, then turn tired and sleepy and red eyed towards daybreak..then in the morning get the first bus/train home and shower then sleep..and wake up in the afternoon/evening to blog bout the wonderful night we had with a wide wide grin stretched across..

and now, we can only meet up after work, pathetic amount time as it is.. and still, its never full attendance, there will always be someone working, or someone who doesnt want to meet up, whatever excuses..whatever, im learning to be contented with my lot =)

wanted to upload pictures, but another day perhaps, when im in a less pissi-fied mood haha..

i miss all these times..

caught this with baby, yz and zack..thumbs up!!thrilling indeed, i screamed twice in the cinema haha~~the little girl looked sweet and adorable!!$8.00, or rather $16.00 well spent in baby's eyes

this isnt that bad either, though i dont get the story line, and i din finish it, but the dance steps are like WOAH~~

bean-ed on monday with cam, peien and edwin..haven seen that ghost for sooooo long!!not as bad as everyone claimed it was, but ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS~~ ya right!! lol, the couple sitting infront of us were laughing like no tomorrow..hysterical lol

work this week can be considered a breeze, cos there's always smth to look forward to after work..met up with yufen and sandy at vivo last night, i've been missing them so much!!just shopped around aimlessly for causal smart wear for work, and we thick-skinned strolled in and out of crystal jade fine dining lol~~baby came over and stayed over after that, i fell asleep while he was still gaming..t-i-r-e-d~~

im on duty tml, which means i have to be at work at 830!!gosh, how can i be on time??on a side note, i haven been late till the extent of cabbing yet haha..lets hope i persevere~~ =)

just 13 more working days..and im re-considering the job offer, should they accept my application..it daunted on me that i might want to be in such an environment after all.. *shrugs*

work today ws pretty okay, did the very basic admin stuff - copying, scanning, faxing, data entry..people there are aveage-friendly, save for my partner..she's like forever talking, v chatty lady, nice one to be led around by..

there is internet access, but i dont feel too comfy surfing the net, as my back is facing the door, and people are always moving in and out of the office..the place is empty more than half the time, they all claim to have clients to meet haha..

today's only the first day, but im looking forward to my last day already..prolly this really isnt my cup of tea..how sad, i suddenly dont know what i want in life..i dont know what to aim for, at which part should i be satisfied with..9-5s do well for temp jobs, but to go long and far, i doubt i'll excel in this arena..

no need for words.. just 2 thumbs up for both movies, though i wasnt really able to grasp the idea behind blood diamond, but still worth the watch =)

great movie that i missed when it was showing in the theatres..humourous, meaningful and touching.. =)

swimming today was such a turn off..it started raining at about 12, and while we were on our way there, it started pouring on us!!we sat at chinese garden's mrt station sulking and pouting away, while doing stupid stunts..and when the rain got smaller, we made our way to the swimming complex, halfway there it started pouring again!!stranded at the coffeshop for bout an hour, and the skies finally gave way!!swam for bout 2 hours then we made our way back, cos it was getting boring haha

its my first time tasting vanilla today..haha reminds me of paddle pop..please dont tell me i have been consuming vanilla without my acknowledgement for the past dunno how many years lol..

i dunno what to blog about anymore, but still so in the mood to type..the taiwan tees have arrived, but mine went out of stock!!there goes our couple tees baby lol!!might be a blessing in disguise though, cos i know we'll never wear them out together haha~~
