before i start on my resume and cover letter for tomorrow's first day of battle at IRAS, let me do a recap on my past 60 weekdays at blk R..seems like everyone has done their report..
blk R - a place i really dreaded initally when i knew i was posted there..discipline was strict, not so much of freedom, and supervisors were constantly breathing down our necks..its like, we are watched and judged by our every movement..the time there was somehow not very pleasant, all i could do was msn with camelia, xz and a few others, then look forward to lunch times and tea breaks..
slowly, i grew attached to the place..partly cos my supervisor, mr lawrence tham, was very patient and nice towards us..he always made it a point to make things clear to us..whenever we were in doubt, he nv hesitated to help us, nor think that we were not so bright..also, the nice labmates i acquainted with - yufen, sandy, arthur & wida..somehow, we braved some storms together..
now that 12 weeks is over, i felt it happened too soon..no more chance to eat-snake, no more chit chat sessions as and when we want, no more jitterys for presentations, no more msn and lol, no more nothing..life has taken itself on a whole new phase - attachment..we cant meet up everyday anymore, we cant go shopping after 6, we cant sit in the lab and do nothing, we can only look forward to fridays..
i will miss all this, really..
