"Who wakes up before their alarm rings?"
Nobody answers.
"I do. I wake up before my alarm rings, and lie in bed in anticipation of my agenda for the day. And when my alarm finally rings, I mute it and get out of bed immediately, ready to take on the day ahead."
Awkward silence.
Truth to told, I thought to myself that he's just in the business for a year, and I'm just waiting to see him eat his words when his energy dies out. I've never felt like that in a long time, if not, maybe never at all. Until a week ago, when I started on this new job of mine.
My alarm is set at 0630, and every night I toss and turn in bed with much excitement for the next day. I usually wake up at 5-10 minutes before my alarm goes off, or on the first ring of it. I get out of bed almost immediately, whereas in the past I would lazed and lazed and lazed in bed for as long as I could.
No matter how sufficient and quality my sleep was in the past, I ALWAYS FELT TIRED! Now, I last through the day sometimes with only 4 hours of sleep. The drive that pushes me, thank you so much.
