been in Japan for over a month now.
everyday wheezes by so quickly, with my day starting at 5am, and ending at around 8pm. 90 minutes bus ride to and fro school is a mixture of torture and fun.
batchmates are generally nice & helpful, and I'm more than thankful for this. mingling was one of my main concerns becos of the age differences, and I've never had friends younger than 24. that being said, I'm actually closest to the youngest 2 in our group.
been wanting to blog but didn't know what to say, until an incident this noon. being a major fan of the tvb drama - "triumph in the skies", I was watching it on my ipad when I saw an airplane landing from the side of my window. then it struck me that our hotel is actually pretty near the airport's runway! my heart skipped a beat when the plane touched down, and suddenly everything was surreal. I'm in Japan, receiving training. & when I start on my new job officially, hundreds of people's lives will be in my hands (in a way) daily
all the evacuation procedures, though I hope I'll never have to use it, but it's not there for no reason.
my simple "dream come true" came with so many more meaningful intentions. I truly love my job, period.
